Senior Control Systems Engineer

The Role

Your primary function in this role will be to provide a high level of engineering knowledge and technical expertise to deliver small, medium and large size process control projects. You will have a skillset that includes exposure to a wide range of control system vendors products with a preference for Siemens (PCS7 and/or S7) and Yokogawa (CS3000 and/or Centum VP). Your responsibilities will include system design, control systems integration, configuration and implementation. You will also be required to travel to site periodically to complete commissioning tasks both locally and on inte
ational sites.

These skills combined with extensive hands on knowledge within mining, minerals processing, oil & gas and infrastructure sectors will ensure that you can deliver high quality work, meeting and ideally exceeding their clients expectations.

To be successful in the role you will need the following:-

– Bachelor of Engineering Electrical, Electronics or Computer Technologies
– Extensive knowledge of DCS and PLC technology Siemens (PCS7 and/or S7) and Yokogawa (CS3000 and/or Centum VP
– Previous control systems design experience including knowledge of process instrumentation and field devices
– A high level of attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and consistent engineering documentation
– Ability to complete complex systems integration tasks DCS, PLC & SCADA programming, integration, implementation, configuration and commissioning.
– Strong communication skills both written and verbal
– A willingness to travel to site periodically for commissioning and project execution
– A desire to contribute to and maintain the company values and culture
