The Client:

Randstad Education is working with a small private centre in Sydneys Eastern suburbs that are searching for an experienced 2IC to assist in the successful running of this 22 place centre.

You will be responsible for the overall operation of the early childhood service including children, parents and programing. The centre works over ratio with five ECTs on site. The role will see you lead and guide educators in creating an innovative and creative educational program, you will ensure the successful implementation of the program while also having input on the centre philosophy. Policies and procedures must be kept up to date and in line with working towards the QIP plan. All budgeting and rosters will be completed by the centre owner.

The role will see you work 8 hours a day 8am to 5pm five days a week with off the floor programming time included. If this is not suit the centre can be flexible with working hours.

We are interested to speak to people who are passionate, enthusiastic and experienced in a 2IC role. As a part of your role, you will demonstrate the ability to build strong collaborative teams, ensure effective communication and continue the over all a fun happy atmosphere within the centre.

To be successful:

Bachelor of Education/Diploma in Childrens Services
Previous experience as a 2IC
Strong leadership ability and experience
Excellent knowledge of the EYLF and NQF are essential
