ABOUT THE ROLE
This sponsor facing Project Coordinator role is accountable for the delivery of Work Packages and multiple Small Projects within the Project Management Team, executing allocated project tasks to agreed quality standards and time frames, maintaining project tools and records, and reporting on the status of project tasks.
This role is also accountable and responsible for delivery of key project management tasks on behalf of other Project Management staff as required, including financial management, schedules, meetings and risks and issue followup

– Coordinate with Portfolio / Program Managers, Project Managers and Senior Management to discuss progress and find solutions to scheduling issues

– Establish and maintain a culture of professional and effective stakeholder engagement and management across the business.

– Produce high quality Project Reports (ensuring RAG status in line with guidelines/actual project health)

– Manage all phases of the project, from individual Project initiation through to close, ensuring alignment with the original quote and any additional quotes and Project Change Requests (PCRs).

– Oversee Project financial control and reporting; ensure Project financial controls are implemented and maintained throughout the Project life cycle.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

– Ideally having previous Project experience on Applications, Network Infrastructure and Service Management

– Knowledge of Project Management Tools ideally such as Services+ (SAP) and MS Project

– Solving problems of moderate complexity

– Maintaining stakeholder relationships

– Excellent document control and management skills including writing and reviewing project documentation, schedules, time & expense reports and resource forecasts

– Previous Project Coordination experience in a complex environment

– Contribution to business improvement initiatives

– Ideally, you will have MS Project & SharePoint experience

– Strong administration, time and stakeholder management skills

– Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or equivalent certification

THE ROLE

The role of Senior Project Engineer – Datacentres / Telecommunications will see you designing innovative building solutions for datacentres and telecommunication facilities that are efficient and cost effective. You will also be assessing these designs and documenting them to the high standard of this building services firm.

You will be expected to:

– Design and document systems through concept, design development and detailed documentation phases
– Act as a project leader on assigned projects, which may require the nomination of project engineers and reviewers for projects where appropriate
– Plan and resource projects to ensure all activities and designs fully coordinate with the firms project management methodology
– Manage project delivery by engaging clients and stakeholders ensuring expectations are clear and known
– Attend site meetings and report on the status of work

Due to some inte
al movements and projects secured there is an opportunity for a Site Engineer to come into the business and be part of a team on a $22M Industrial project.

As a Site Engineer you will have already worked for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 builder on similar sized projects. You will have a completed degree and hold at between 3-5 years experience.

Project Engineer – Brisbane

Job Title: Project Engineer- Mid Tier Main Contractor
Location: South East Queensland/Brisbane
Pay Rate: $90 – 115k pa base plus package

There is a significant amount of road projects happening across the state of Queensland, including upgrades in relation to improving safety at various sites. This development is still set to last for 3 + years

Company
The company is a solid mid tier who has undertaken significant growth recently enjoying footholds in the road construction, private subdivision development and mining and resources sectors. They have a variety of transportation infrastructure (roading) projects across the state of Queensland and are looking for civil engineers at all levels. The projects ranged in value from $1 – 10m.

Main Duties
As Project Engineer you will be working very closely with the resident Project Manager to effectively manage and monitor costs of the section of project you are based on, together with the management of sub-contractor programmes, control and monitoring of safety in line with the method statements and risk assessments and company standards and assisting with the compliance of the project. The role will have a strong Quality component which will run in line within TMR systems. Every effort will be made to accommodate your needs in respect to training and further professional development.

Requirements
The successful candidate will bring to the role;

3 years + experience, and hold a relevant degree in civil engineering or similar
Previous demonstrated experience in delivering technical challenging road construction projects through on site supervision and management of construction activities
QLD road construction (TMR) experience is desirable but not essential, including a good handle on quality systems.
A good understanding and demonstrative experience of civil engineering and technical elements, particularly with roading and pavement works.
a practical minded hands-on approach coupled with excellent communication and people skills
A solutions-orientated attitude with a desire to progress.
