Hospital Radiology. The Northe
Hospital is a large public hospital located in the northe
metro Melbou
e suburb of Epping and is on a growth trajectory. The Radiology Department completes between 2,500 and 3,000 patients weekly comprising MR, NM, CT, Ultrasound Mammography, Fluoroscopy, General, Theatre, On-Call and Tier B procedures including Vascular & Endovascular Procedures.

The Director of Imaging for Northe
Hospital Radiology will bring exceptional skills in managing multiple stakeholders, a superior level of relationship building, experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and a leadership style to build a positive team culture. There are 4 FTE Doctors on site daily including a core group of 4 all of whom attend 4 days per week. These Doctors are supported by further 4-5 radiologists who attend 1-2 days per week and cover leave. Out of hours reporting support is managed by an out of hours service which is both inte

al. The Doctors attend and chair the various specialty group Multi-Disciplinary Meetings at the hospital and this is seen as key to the hospital.

This highly influential role will be appointed as an integral member of the Northe
Hospital Hospital/Radiology Joint Committee who is responsible for building a collegiate approach and managing the services at the Northe
Hospital.

The Northe
Hospital is a welcoming and patient-centred 400 public bed hospital with one of the busiest Emergency Departments in Australia. Healthcare Imaging Services offers superior facilities, the latest Imaging technology including 3T MRI, CT, SPECT/CT, PET/CT, Ultrasound, Digital X-ray, Fluoroscopy and Interventional Radiology. The clinic has 2 CT units one of which we expect to replace shortly and both will have perfusion stroke management software and Angio/Cardiac CT capability. There is access to a 1.5T partially rebated MR within the hospital and a 3T full licensed in a co-located clinic some 300 metres away which also provides CT, ultrasound, OPG and BreastScreen Mammography.
